Playback Engine

I had a couple of questions about playback engine settings.
First, shoud I set the cpu usage as high as it will go? What will it affect? I have a P4 3.0 64bit.(I know the 64 bit doesn't matter...

The synth lead is a patch that I created on my kurzweil and then I ran it through the BF moogerfooger ring modulator on the "neverland ranch" setting.

Ok guys, I need some suggestions. I think I'm getting better at getting levels and such, but I'm just guessing when it comes to compressors. I'm trying to get really punchy drums for techno type...

I think it's something to do with "free". I tried that version with several different cards and it only worked half the time. Just buggy software I think with little support cause its free. ...

Me too! I like this way better than using the wave driver, as the wave driver is only single client and can only access one program at a time.

As for the shortcuts, get yourself the pro tools stickers from digi. They helped me a lot and it comes with a nice fold out listing all...

What do you guys use for billing software? Any examples? I have exel. Should I use that exclusivly, or is there something else that is a stand-alone or works with exel?
