I used dynaudio's BM5 a few years ago with protools and loved them. I use them now with 001 with a pair of ns10's. This is a good budget combination.

Try taking the main outs from your desk into two spare inputs of your 001. route them through stereo aux inputs, then when bouncing set the outs of the auxs as the source for the bounce.

Better off going for Cubase or logic at the end of the day. I fyou wanna chop audio all day the digi is the thing. If you do the slightest bit of midi the get something else before you regret it.

This is not looking to good. I thought I could stear my outbord gear and synths signals going into DIGI001. This seems to be a very unreliable way to work when I can not be sure of how many samples...

When ever I record a track and play it back I hear a great crack of a sound. On close inspection there has been recorded 10 - 100mS of almost full volume crunch. This I can remove. It is regardless...

optical ADAT

Has anyone connected a device to the optical with success ? I am thinking of getting the Fostex VC-8 to i/o my outboard gear. will this work without problem ?
