When I launch pro tools version 12.8.2×106 , whether I open a recent session or create a new session when the edit window opens I press play in the transport window the play button lights up green...

I've always had it set up to the Focusrite interface as well and it Work fine for quite some time. I did try to change the settings in control panel like was suggested. Pro tools will only initiate...

To answer your question Dave yes the settings are set to the Focusrite in the control panel. This issue started during a session no settings changes were made it just happened?

The program was working fine. Just stopped working on its own. The hardware settings are correct

Please help. I use pro tools 12.8 subscription for education, 2i2 Focusrite interface , windows 10 on a HP PC. All of a sudden during a session pro tools would not play back. Play button lights up...
