Its a shame it still leaves you in the sh*tter when it comes to ADC. Having 40-core processors won't provide that feature.

hmmm. Does the menu bar along the top of the screen as "protools LE 7.3"? If it does, you just have to click it and his "New Session" or something along those lines...

I've searched the compatability documents and haven't found an exact answer. It mentions that the M-box isn't compatable, but what about a 002?

Full blown Protools rig? well i was always under the assumption that "LE" stood for "Light Edition". It is a slimmed down, lightened version of its bigger TDM brother. So i would consider TDM rigs...

there are plenty of top studios that advertise there HD rigs... pretty every studio has is listed in there "equipment" list. Sure its not on the front page but its still there to help promote the...

If you look at the spec's, inputs 5 through 8 have marginly better figures than inputs 1 through 4... it could be adding to what you are experiencing...

Just thought i might add, there aren't a hell of a lot of D24 Core cards out there that are compatable with PC. A D24 Core is also made up of a D24 card and a DSP farm card so you are going to need 2...

Neve 1272's were never designed as mic preamps... they are line amps, so Vintechs, BA's, SCA or whoever is making 1272 clones are using an original design to come extent.

In my overly humble opinion, if you aren't going to use Protools|LE software, dont get a 002. You can get something else that will sound better for a similar price if you already own other software...
