You mean if I hold the option button at start up, it'll automatically have lion ready to go?

Is Yosemite OS X compatable with pro tools 9? I upgraded my mac from lion to it. The OS is running smoothly but I'm yet to try it with any version of pro tools.

I want 9 because 10 & 11 are out...

I actually got it. Had to take a break from it though because I ran into my last problem.

It's freezing randomly while running the program.

Do you think it might be that my computer can't...

I reinstalled it and made sure I picked non hd and it was still doing the same thing. Then I installed the graphics card and now my computer is beeping at me and the power button is blinking.

You think that's why my computer is crashing with pro tools hd 10? 'cause I don't have a video card? That'd be good, because I just bought a HP Nvidia Quadro FX 1800 768MB PCI-e DVI Video Card.

AMD A8-7600 accelerated processor
8GB DDR3 system memory
2TB hard drive
AMD Radeon R7 Graphics
DTS sound

I didn't. I just went ahead and got 10 on my pc. Works awesome... but now for some reason, unexpectedly, while running it, my computer restarts on it's own unexpectedly. And when that doesn't...

Alright. I guess I'll see if I can bite the bullet and get pro tools 10 then. Am I able to use the M-audio fast track with it? I assume not, but I figure I'd ask. I think my digidesign Mbox 2 is...

The only plug in I intend on using is addictive drums. I have it ready to go.

So it just simply isn't compatible with windows 8.1... blows. I sunk a lot of money into this..
