Re: PT 8.1 cs1

Yes, had the same issue. Avid is aware of this. Once you are up and running, try reinstalling cs1 - it should work and you should be fine.

Re: "Some regions had invalid bounds and were adjusted or deleted"

Sorry DTS, there are changes in region boundaries when reopening in 8.0.4. Please speak directly to Greg Robles regarding this. If you need to speak with me directly, he has my contact info.

Re: "Some regions had invalid bounds and were adjusted or deleted"

I've had the same alert window, but I have noticed a difference in files. After comping vocals and fine tuning breaths (yes, fun), non-crossfaded regions moved from their original in and out points....

Best of luck.

Re: Transferring 1/2 inch 16 track tape. Noise reduction advice.

I agree with Peter - you won't solve the proper decoding parameters with a noise plug-in. The expansion/compression schemes not only varied from brand-to-brand, but within brand types themselves...

Re: Avid buys Euphonix

In all likelihood, Euphonixs would have closed shop had Avid not interceded. Even the most seemingly stable music/recording software and hardware companies are currently under some pretty serious...

Re: Just wanted to say..

I don't doubt there are people here that, for whatever reason, are having a most unpleasant time using any version of PT 8. Likewise, there are those who feel, by their day to day experiences, that...

I am using the UAD-2 card with my HD6 system. The 6 HD cards live in my Magma PE6R4 and the UAD-2 lives inside my Harpertown. No issues.
