Click track lagging on playback

Doing some recording and during the recording process the click track is on time, but during playback it slowly lags and falls out of time. Anyone else know about or have this problem?

It seems to be spinning, but just ejects the DVD. I have tried even the training DVD and it wont load. I have tried other DVD's and CD's and they load just fine. I have ProTools 7.4 on another disc...

I just read up on Mac specs and I dont think the PowerPC is supported. I think I figured out my problem. Thanks tho. I have MAc OS X 10.5.8 and assumed that would be ok, but being new to the Mac...
