There is nothing wrong with PT11. Haven't used 10 in months. Using it for fast turnaround TV drama and it's doing fine, even making things quicker.

I never said it did. However the way the talk back mic shared a path with the centre channel made 5.1 working challenging which is a shame considering.

You've obviously never actually owned an expensive Neve or SSL because if you think your investment in either of those is any safer than Avid then you're sorely mistaken. Both of them have pulled EOL...

Thing is, 11 has increased the power of my existing system with 64bit (a dirty word on this thread I know), and saved me having to switch to a way more expensive Mac in order to use pcie video...

Never been an issue on Windows as far as I know. One massive benefit of 11 is being able to use such devices. 11 was an essential update for me.

I do film and TV post. Have had no problems with video at all. The only "problem" there has been has that 11HD can run types of video that 10 can't.

Many 15 year old digital Neves ARE EOL, with no spare parts, and requiring a five figure upgrade to get through the next decade.

I had a lovely hui controller by Radikal, but when 64bit Windows...
