SDII Files, NOT PT document... HOW?

So, after BTD... I've noticed that my Finder labels the file as a PTfile and NOT an SDII. Masterlist CD sees it just fine... Samplecell 2 does not... same for many other apps...
How do I get these...

Having used both I would say go with the Averill's if you're talking 1272's. They're a little more "open" then the Vintechs.

However, The Vintech X73 (remake of 1073) absolutely KILLS both...

Yeah, I checked out some AD8000's and PSX's too, and it seems to be a problem across the entire product line. Kind of disheartening when you spend so much $ on piece.

I love the sound, but the buttons and power switch feel extremely low budget. Is it me? Do I have a bad unit, or are they real "sponge like" and flimsy??? PSX...

Having used both on a daily basis... this is what I'd do. Go with the 001, and use the difference in price to get yourself a Rosetta, a Neve pre/reissue, a Distressor, and some plug ins. It amazes...

Thanks Bryan. I checked out there web site and the software looks pretty powerful.

One follow up if I may... Should I be converting individual hits/pads to SDII STEREO files or SPLIT stereo files?

The Ren. Reverb is great. It's quite a CPU hog, but I really like the quality of the verbs. Very much like TC algorithms, warm and slightly darker than lexicons...

Try vintageking.com they have a dozen or so left. IMHO the olympic style Helios pre/eq is the best Class A pre you can get!
