I can't speak for 9, as I completely missed that train, but just the fact that 10 works so fluidly with my Win7x64 monster...

Update (Further):

I did a fresh install, and 8.0.5 is running, all my stock plugins are running fine. I can't get the Command|8 to work, though. ProTools will just NOT communicate with the unit....
