Thank you for this! So it looks like PT isn't compatible with ventura?? Is that still a thing? Ventura is almost a year old. Or does this mean I have to pay for the update?

If it were command and then a number so that each number lined up with the appropriate slot, or if it just chose the first available slot. It may not be possible though.

Update, I've come to find that the issue is having a plugin after the hardware insert. If you take that plugin off the issue goes away. Some kind of bug and a temporary work around at least.
