I've been at this for more than a week.
I tried so many things to resolve my issue.
Looked through the manual, brought it to work even read through it and on my brakes fiddled and farted through...

Got past the "can not find hardware" issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.

Downloaded a trial of cakewalk sonar X3 producer works fine ;)
Creating a new session in pro tools I can...

It's my only audio device.
Not sure what you mean by input only.
It was working the other day I was able to record but then all of a sudden this I've had enough.

I got pt 10 then the pt 11 upgrade.

Yes I'm on a pc musiclee.
Tried your suggestion but it's not working.
Had to go into my BIOS and reenable the onboard soundcard.

if you have Protools LE - it has to be used with a digi design device, if you have protools M it has to be used with an m audio device.
it's a hardware lock in.
