Yeh sure, that is another way - but still not slick enough for my liking.

In contrast to Logic, go into Project Management > Consolidate and done.

I believe a powerful laptop is what he would prefer.

I don't see a 32 GB RAM M3? But a vanilla 14" M3 with 24 GB RAM is a comparable price, I'd still favour the M2 Max.
