Re: TC MD3 v 1.2.3 with 8.0.3 on 10.5.8 issue?

Yes, we had to revert back to version 1.2.2. I submitted a bug to TC about 2 months ago, and the only response they gave me is that they are very "busy" fixing other bugs.

IMHO this is a pretty...

Re: 8.0.3 - Don't Show This Dialog Again option

It's a checkbox in the first Pro Tools Preferences pane, bottom left corner.

Pro Tools 8.0.1 and Fades and Cross Fades Pop

Recently we have been going back to sessions that played fine on Pro Tools 7.4. When Pro Tools 8.0.1 encounters certain fades that fade out slowly, especially in conjunction with fades that fade in...

Re: PT 8.0.1 Continuous Scroll is jerky.

I agree with the mouse scrolling bug, very annoying with a Kensington ExpertMouse, but it works great if you have a D-Control scroll wheel.

I was actually posting regarding the display properties...

PT 8.0.1 Continuous Scroll is jerky.

We just finished doing a clean install of OS X 10.5.8, and upgraded Pro Tools to 8.0.1. The continuous scroll or Center Playhead make the edit window extremely jerky during playback. This same...

Re: PT 6.9.2cs2 Inconsistent LTC Chase

Thanks for some insight Snoopy. We have definitely done all that and more. This is a completely fresh system and Pro Tools installation. The only stable HD version of Pro Tools is 6.4cs9.

Any...

PT 6.9.2cs2 Inconsistent LTC Chase

We have just configured a 2.3 DP G5 with 1.5 GB RAM, running OS 10.4.2, QT 7.0.1 and Pro Tools 6.9.2cs2. The Sync I/O is Loop Master to 3 192 Digital I/O's, and references house video black. The...

Continuous Scroll Bug in 6.7

When working with sessions created with Pro Tools versions 5.1.3, 6.2.3 or 6.4.1, the continuous scrolling option seems to be very intermittent. It will randomly work, and not work, when chasing...

Re: J. CONNELY:::HELP Please:::6.4.1 crashing RAM?

I would contribute 90 % of Kernel Panics to incompatible RAM. With the 2 GB that you have, there's lots of room for "errors". I would start by removing any questionable DIMMS. I believe your...

6.4.1 Post Roll issues

After upgrading to 6.4.1 and Mac OS 10.3.4 using Atto DC cards, all sessions locking to LTC via the USD and referencing video, randomly play on anywhere from a frame to 9 seconds after the tape is...

Re: Mix+ and 6.4.1 = Unacceptable plug-in count?

Thank you for the very thorough explanations. Will the original DSP farms work with 6.4.1? I didn't think they would.

OS 9 and DPP-1 count was much higher.

That's what I thought. Under OS 9 and Pro Tools 5.1.3, with 2 regular DSP farm cards, we can easily get 8 channels with DSP to spare.

Something is not right with DigiRack Pitch and 6.4.1. In the...

Mix+ and 6.4.1 = Unacceptable plug-in count?

We can only get 5 Digi Pitch plug-in instances on a fresh install OS 10.3.4 and Pro Tools 6.4.1 with only 32 voices on a Mix Plus system.

Can anyone recreate this? How much DSP does the new Pitch...

Re: OS X 10.3.4 and PT TDM 6.2.3

Thank you Wolfgang. How many tracks can you play back? We usually record to Firewire drives, but play back 32 to 48 tracks from a SCSI drive, with fairly dense editing at times.

Re: OS X 10.3.4 and PT TDM 6.2.3

Is anyone running Mix hardware with 6.2.3 and OS 10.3.4, with ATTO DC or UL3D cards? We'd like to take advantage of 10.3.4 and ATTO driver 3.10 (for the UL3D), to rescan the SCSI bus and mount SCSI...

PT 6.1 HD and phasing issues w/legacy interfaces

We are running PT 6.1 on an HD1 system, with a 192 I/O and an 888/24. When phase dependent audio is played out of the 192, and the 888, phasing occurs in the 25 subframe range. Has anyone else...

Re: Firewire Video and Audio Simultaneously

As far as I know, most of the 120 GB ATA drives in Firewire enclosures are 5400 RPM. If your's are, that may have a significant impact.

Mix Farm not recognized with d24 in 9600

Hello Everyone,

I have just installed a Mix Farm in the first slot of the 9600, followed by a d24 and PCI Farm card. I am running Mac OS 9.0.4, and Pro Tools 5.0.1.

I have trashed all...

Re: "Apple preps OS X-only booting" by Jan 2003

Very interesting, but how is the d24, or PT|24 hardware supposed to run without a DSP Farm? Will the d24 only be supported with a Mix Farm under OS X?

Something to think about if the above...

Re: 882/20 Problems

We had a similar setup and problem. The solution for us, was to set the Apogee clock to crystal. That enabled any other interface to be used. I hope this works for you.

Re: 5>1 Miro DC30+ Sluggish video/selects

I'm just curious about a couple of things.

First, has anyone had luck with 2.0 Miro drivers? There doesn't seem to be an option to send video to external video monitor. I am assuming that it...

Re: Fuse playback and region select latency

Thank you for your replies. I am going to install PT 5.1 and 5.1.1 and see if there is any difference, as it seems to me that the fuse 2.0.2 drivers were written specifically for that version of PT....
