Mesaone - That was it! I apparently "bounced selection" (consolidate tracks) and then normalized with those two particular E Gtr tracks. Thanks again all! Steve

Your response made me rethink the process. In order to sort this out, I just got done copying the e gtr file from the Cubase folder over to the C drive, then right back into Cubase and...

Thank you Joachim, but no clip gain is used in Cubase.

With this project, all the files were recorded and then normalized to -4dB in Cubase. Those files are then imported into Pr Tools.

Wow! thank you all for the quick replies.

The file on the right is the PT file re-imported back into Cubase and I just checked their LUFS levels (5dB difference)....
