DAE Error -225 help.Help.help!

I have a dual 800 G4. Why does PT Free give me this error of -225 when DAE is loading?
Any other ideas besides the dual processor thing??

When will DIGI work with Firewire Video Devices

I wish I could use the Formac Studio firewire device to output video from a protools session. i have all of my PCI slots filled with protools cards and I don't want to spend money on an expansion...

If your "external fire drive" is DVD ram....disable the extensions for it and restart the computer. Better yet ...create two extension sets...one for Pro Tools and one for backing up to Fire wire...

Is anybody able to use Jam and the CD Burner which is built into the new G4's? I am buying a whole bunch of 533 Dual Proces. and would love to save on buying as many $300.00 fire wire CD burners....

You probably still have pro tools open in the background....therefore it doesn't relinquish the TDM Hardware to Jam causing the error. Just quit ProTools.

How are you providing different cue mixes when tracking?

I hae been very happy with DVD-RAM.
My rationale is this:
With a tape drive...there is a chance that the tape can get eaten on recovery. That would be a disaster.

Well...I can't use Jam anymore...not compatible. Toast doesn't let you scrub and back into each cut to make...
