I had this same issue today. Googled it and found an old thread where a guy said he had to create a new admin user account and install from there. Did it, it didn't work. Then I restarted, logged in...

ok, I solved the problem, sort of. I followed Avid's advice of creating a new user and running PT, which worked. So, I had to rename my user to something else, then create a new user with the name I...
