But one last clarification: BFW.wav is NOT a standard audio CD file that I can burn and play on any standard audio CD player...Is that correct???

So let me try to clarify what you are telling me.......I can't burn an audio CD whose files have been bounced as BFW.wav. Therefore, only SDll and AIFF should be use if I need to burn standard audio...

Does anyone know If or How I tap off the RECORD button on the Procontrol's transport to turn on/off an external lamp.

This lamp will be the "Hey, Quiet in the hallway! "We're in the Record Mode" ...

For several months, my Procontrol experienced the EXACT same problems on a daily basis.

Installng a New Power Supply cured the "freaking out"...

So, you're saying that Def Lepard' s E-drum sounds are just triggered Alesis D-4 sounds? I don't think this unit was in production during the Big Hair band days.
