Re: 2020.9!

Vanilla has always had track limits. It was 128 mono @ 48kHz but now it looks like that’s been halved. We’re not sure if it’s a bug in 2020.9 or (as some users suspect) capitalism “gone wild” with...

Perpetual Academic Has Been Killed

With all of the new pricing hoopla going on, it would appear that Avid have killed off perpetual licenses for academic versions of Pro Tools. I can see perpetual being offered for single user...

Re: Files missing from project

Wow, not good at all... So, if the PT launch file is over 3.2MB, the session will corrupt itself?

Sounds like an older issue that Outlook used to have, where if the .ost file was over a certain...

Boxed Versions No Longer Include an iLok?

I run an online music school here in Australia and was quite disappointed to see that new boxed versions of Pro Tools (which we supply to our students) no longer include an iLok? I can only assume...

Re: AAE 6101 Errors -- Pro Tools 2018.4

I was able to resolve this issue. It turns out, my Focusrite interface (6i6) needed the "control" application to be reinstalled. I'm not sure why this happened but this was the cause of the 6101...
