Okay, let me escalate this and see if someone from Avid can tell you what to look for.
I thought it may be failing on the Link install, but that's not the case since you can install it by itself....

Does Avid Link finish installing? Do you get a menu item for it and can you run it?

CFnd.dll is a Avid library file. By clicking on the exe from that location, you are attempting to run a program that hasn't actually been installed, and therefore it can not find the files it needs...

Your system looks fine for running PTF.
Have you created your iLok account and is the iLok connected to your computer?

I know on my Windows system, the install can appear to hang, but it actually...
