Its more simply trying to create a multichannel track to verify it, or more simply: create two video tracks!

Im not new in Pro tools...
As ever I said:yes, I have the completed toolkit option, yes, NOT the music toolkit nor dv toolkit 1... And YES, its in the same ilok that contains Protools 10 license....

With a partition of 2TB and 1TB all goes FINE...
With 3TB the problems comes bad again...

Its possible that there is not the perfect HDD, but problems ARE NO NORMAL

Western Digital makes "Black" and "Green" HDDs, both with the same buffer and sizes, I dont know the real difference...
But my HDDs are not in sleep status when happens... Maybe a error between Mac...

I think that Digidesign only guarantee 48 tracks for a single external hard drive (I dont remember..), and yes, you can play more tracks but at hi buffer ratings (and hi induced delay).
