Joel, as you know from other threads that driver update is 'Hit and Miss' at best and absolutely 'Does Not' work in 10.9 for Core2Duo users. I have not updated to 10.9.1.

I think it's pretty straight forward. The current solution, non Avid, howbeit, is to uninstall the driver and manually remove any other remnants of the install (.kext file, preference files, etc...)....

Don't know about that. I had been manually deleting drivers, caches, preferences, receipts, refreshing RAM, etc., as well.

I installed over 10.7

Strangely enough, after several installs of various drivers (1.8.1, 1.9.1, .1.9.2, 1.9.3, 1.9.4), I installed / uninstalled 1.8.1 again Sunday night, did the same with 1.9.4, and ran the installer...

Yes, that's exactly why I purchased M-Audio instead of an MBOX. But now, the M-Audio might a well be an MBOX..

After additional testing, the fast track plays audio through QuickTime but, no other app. If I open Logic or Keynote while QT is playing, it stops. If I start playing ITunes, it stops. Through FLV...

This caught me totally off-Guard. I expect as per usual, problems on the software end. But, never had I experienced hardware problems following an upgrade. Then again, I had no Idea Avid took over...
