Had same issue, narrowed it down to Slate VMR plugin.

Removing VMR = session load time halved!:-)

Unfortunately 'Shift C' appears now to be the shortcut for Retrospective Record.

Previously used to toggle bypass of all Dynamics plugins on selected tracks.

Same here! Rolled back to Yosemite 10.10.4

I did not have the problem in Yosemite 10.10.4. Yes disabling Beam Sync did very much improve graphic performance when using my older iMac though.

Confirmed.

Strange how only Avid plugins seem to do this including the 'Pro' plugins. Dyn3 Comp/Limiter + Expander/Gate + DeEsser Pro Compressor all unusable for me at the moment, Even EQ3 1 Band...

I can assure you that if everyones problems are not 'exactly' the same they are very, very similar.

My problem was the the same as, xeraphones, ralphgayeds, and nodligs on this...

Ralph, I have exactly the same issues as you with my mbox mini and it is widely reported in other threads and across the internet effecting the mbox and other avid hardware. The Driver simply doesn't...
