Make sure the conductor is highlighted (bottom left of midi section in the transport, the little conductor dude should be blue). In grid mode, click on beat "one" of the bridge (as if you want it to...

Re: TDM and M-Powered on same PC?

Could you not pop another hard drive in, load another version of xp onto it and install LE. In theory the version of PT's that's associated with each version of xp should ignore the other. May have...

Re: Recommend me a video card

Hey Adam, take a look at the Matrox P750 (http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/crepro/products/pseries/p750.php). I think they're in Montreal. It only has one DVI though. I use it with 3 VGA's with PT's...

Re: I want to trade systems with another studio...how?

If both systems have the same hard drive connectors, you might want to try swapping just the root drives (and iloks). It's never that easy, but it might work. I'd ghost the drives first though.

Hey muralidhar, it's not a problem, just an observation that I thought others might not be aware of. What point are you getting caught on?

Re: Auto-solo?

If I'm reading you right, I think you just want to hold Alt+Shift when soloing the tracks(s). All currently selected tracks will be soloed.

You can also make a group of the selected tracks....

Re: PT7 and Alesis DM5 trigger

I haven't used a DM5 in quite a few years, but if memmory serves, you have to go into the midi setup in the DM5 and tell it to send the midi data out the individual midi channels. Sorry I don't have...

Re: Importing audio from CD

PTs doesn't import .cda files directly. You need to rip the audio file from the cd into a .wav file first. I use dbpoweramp, but there are tons of 'em out there.

Re: offsetting incoming audio from dat?

Re: copying a whole section of 10 tracks and pasting?

Make sure the cursor is blinking in ALL the same tracks (10 in your example) you copied from.

It's easier (and faster) to create a group with the 10 tracks, then trun the group off or delete it...

Re: hardware buffer issues on 6.4 LE with 001

Also, you can usually find a bad file by creating a new blank...

Re: Hardware Swap MB2-002

If someone could do a search (osx) for DigidesignFWDriver or DigidesignUSBDriver and let me know the path is and the file size, I'd appreciate it.

Tks
