With the FirePort it is just a matter of transferring all the tracks onto a hard drive on the Protools setup. Then import them to audio tracks in ProTools. You don't even need the HD24 where the...

Yes, that was it. There are still two but they did not tell me to get rid of any other ones. So I guess you can have more than one it just depends on which ones you have.

No, Final Cut Pro does not support importing MXF files. No mention of them being supported in any documentation for Final Cut.

Still no way to get time stamped audio into Final Cut.

Yes, followed the link. Interesting info, may be useful someday, not to use with Final Cut Pro.

Same conclusion, no way to time stamp for Final Cut Pro unless they start supporting BWF or other....
