every time i zoom in it goes to the exact area the selection is on, i can't zoom in say 1 minute ahead of whats playing, i used to remember this so i know its possible.

no other programs open
pro tools open

in pro tools i click import audio
i go to cd drive, i see...

i stick the cd into my computer, open pro tools, go to import audio then import it, im not opening itunes...how is this itunes fault? its never opened...

my files which are recorded live of a church service are automatically named just 1,2,3,4,5,6, etc... when i import audio and click convert to import them it renames them rediculous names it finds...

no i said built in because im using a digi approved firewire card, i had a digi tech support guy take over my computer and he tried for several hours to get it to work, i tried everything he said and...

sorry but you missed it in my list, it is there listed as

"FireWire/1394 Controller 1 : Avlab Technology XIO2200(A) IEEE-1394a-2000 Controller (PHY/Link)"

that is what name the SIIG falls...
