Re: Yamaha 02r with PTLE

O2r as MIDI controller (http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?navid=54&langid=1&itemid=16519)

IIRC, there are not transport controls on the earlier O2r. The O2r96 had them.

Re: Berst headphones to buy?

If you are wanting accuracy, get yourself a set of Grados. RS1s is you have the $$$$. They have saved my butt on several occasions in many not too lowend friendly rooms.
Even their cheaper ones...

Re: Mixing drums.....

I tend to mix from a sense that I (as a listener) am a part of the song, which would put me right in the middle of everything. When getting basic levels set at the beginning of a mix, it's comes...

Mixing drums.....

Since my main instrument is drums, I have a tendency to pan them from the drummers perspective. When mixing live, I pan them to match what the audience is seeing and hearing on the stage.

So, how...

MIDI velocity question

Either I missed it in the manual or it's not there...

I am working with Addictive drums. I have loaded some of the beats available onto a MIDI track. I like the sound of them, but the hits are a...

Re: Pentium D 2.8 performance question

I'm using a Pentium D 2.66 on an ECS motherboard for the time being(until I finish this CD). I have the occasional buffer errors, but I only have 1 gig of memory and I am running Addictive Drums on...

Re: Can you connect two 002 or 003 racks together?

You have to remember...it's a Behringer. I have one.
I bought it because I had to have the extra inputs for a live recording, and it was the only thing available on such short notice. The band I...

Re: Which budget creation will run LE8?

Right now I'm using a PentiumD 805 system to mix several songs for a friends CD. Old PATA hard drives and 1 gig of PC4400. Everything transferred from my old AMD 2500+ rig. I think I spent $90 for...

Re: Protools LE on those tiny 10" laptops?

I think this was brought up not too long ago in another thread.

I would think it wouldn't work very well. It would be severely limited on the number of tracks you could work with, what with the...

Re: Need some MIDI help...

I D/L'd a demo of DrumTracker. It seems to be what I am looking for.

Albee, I tried Drumagog and didn't care for it too much....but then again I used it at the start of this fiasco and gave up on...

Re: How do I bypass all plug ins?

On the mix window, bring one of your active plugs up on the screen. Press the Alt button on your keyboard while clicking the bypass switch on the plug.

Remember....Alt means EVERYTHING.

Re: All I can say is Thank You!

Yeah, I've had a few artifacts. Really noticeable on vocals, but nothing that can't be replaced if you do proper backups. I usually have my sessions and all supporting stuff saved to at least one...

Re: Dealing with fader moves and mutes with Elastic

Yeah.
Well, in my defense, I started working on these songs in LE 6.7(my system was badly out of date, as I haven't used it in quite some time).

Hey guys,

I have been trying to mix several songs with a crappy drummer. I still haven't got the full grasp of Elastic Audio, but I am learning. I made a tempo map following a post from elicious...

Re: Problems with PTLE 8 and WinXP Pro SP2

Re: Problems with PTLE 8 and WinXP Pro SP2

Thank you, mano. And Tom too.

The last time I used a desktop for recording was around three years ago. Ever since then, it has been on a laptop with my external.

I'll eventually get it figured...
