I know some guitars in Xpand2, and other VI's as well, have that distorted sound but if I hold a note for a couple seconds I get that "crackling" type of sound that comes through on my mixes too...

I get the same thing after I upgraded to 8.0.3, actually when I installed 8.0 with the Mbox2 Mini the creative collections kicked back an error but because I could use PT I didn't think nothing of it...

Did you log into PT and before opening a session go to your setup>playback engine and make sure you are leaving one processor available? I just mentioned I had upgraded, it wasnt the "cure"....

I found out how to fix my issue with this. I upgraded both my KORE PLAYER to 2.1 and my PT LE to 8.0.3CS1 last week and somehow some of my settings changed... weird. My host processor info...

I just started having this issue, I just upgraded to the newest PT LE 8 version not sure if that is the reason or not but thanks BIG TIME for the answer since I was thinking I corrupted all my files....

ok I got the update, deleted the old ilok and client helper and updated to newer versions from PACE. I updated to the v1.2.5 and restarted. I launched PT and just like always it went to the play_rtas...
