i wouldnt be using ANY of the above systems. The only trustable system on recordings of this length is Radar. Reason ? - well, wait until someone kicks a power chord out - you'll lose everything....

not true, VCA mix computeres can do the same trick as VCA faders in PT. You can group the whole automation and bring it down. . Doesnt solve your prob though!!
