Oh, I forgot Mac Protools has dual monitor support but I've heard there is a problem with Protools LE/digi001 G4s running with two cards or no AGP dual monitor card available....something like that.

I'd start by ruling out component failure in you entire chain (which is a long one). I've had a tube go in a Summit DL200 befor, and the Finalizer is a complicated beast...are you expanding in it...

Yes, select the whole track or segments and use the trim tool.....To fine tune in .1db increments (not huge jumps) hold down the....the....oh, shoot it's the APPLE key on a mac.....try the CTRL key....

The guts of our macs have been stripped out and stuck in rack mount boxes. They don't have firewire for some reason. Our G4 portable units do though. Firewire is a great way to go though so check...

I just got a 36GB SCSI wide Seagate Barracuda for $271 at Provantage.com. Yes, it's still more expensive, but that's a good price.

You would definetely want to go with a SCSI drive. All the studios I've worked at use SCSI removeables on there Mac TDMs. I use a Seagate 36GB Wide formatted in Fat32 that I've put in a Kingston...
