Yeah - that's what they dropped. It was <Shift button + the left-most Solo button> on the Control or Mix.

I've got one fader on the MC Control that if there's volume automation on that track - it rattles like a beast. Locking faders was my quick and easy way of stopping it so I can actually hear my mix....

The composite RCA cable will carry SPDIF.

It is recommended that you use 75-ohm coaxial cable for this digital connection - but if you're using this for "crap" speakers, that probably won't...

Make sure you and the editor are working on the same video. If the video is PAL, then change your session to 25 frame PAL. If you're ultimately supposed to be NTSC, then that's on your editor, not...

Well at least I've gone 60 minutes without a crash. We'll see how the rest of the day goes....

The 'headphone out' of the Producer USB is your only source of audio output, so it sounds like you want to get a headphone splitter or separate headphone amp so that you can both listen.

Uninstall USB Overdrive. Trash prefs and run Repair disk in Disk Utility. Reboot and give it a shot. Don't know what else it could be.

Pro Tools software will only playback through Pro Tools hardware. You'll have to plug your speakers into the headphone output and be careful about feedback when you record-arm tracks.
