When starting up (Voltage, not PowerButton) the MacPro, the fans of the HDX rise up of 10 sec, then getting quiet...

It's a "BigSur Problem" or let us say Avid after 03.2021 unter BigSur...

Even on the MacPro 5.1 with Monterey, it's snappier than on BigSur...
BUT as told before, Version of 03.2021 worked fine...

Well, I double-checked, removing all non Avid PlugIns, no difference...
still cursor line stuttering, when you have some tracks on, all DSP, non VI.

Same Session under 2021.3.1 - no problem......

No, has nothing to do with critical plug ins, already checked...

Sluggish feel was also in there versions before...
Last Version which worked snappy was 2021.3 - with same Setup

Did that also, no difference...

Have also 12.6.1 on the computer... After trashed prefs etc, tried it unter 12.6.1, everything fine...

Back on 12.8. same problem again...if you grab MIDI Files...

I remarked today an error, that you can't "grab" MIDI Regions with the ObjectGrabber. if you select them yellow outlined and try to move them, it's not possible... if there's an AUDIO File...

My MacPro 5.1 with HDX1 has sometimes strange behavior, when inserting USB Devices, doesn't matter if USB Stick, iPhone Cable, whatever... I use the USB Port at the front of the Mac......

There's a setting in the preferences, where the "MIDI Realtime settings" will appear in graphic MIDI Edit..
If you switch that off, the notes will appear on their "right" position...

Well, we had big MIDI Problems under 12.6, which were fixed in 12.6.1... or was it under 12.5, which were fixed in 12.6...

If you play a MIDI Track, edit for example Modulation in the MIDI Edit window while playing, to listen the effect, it won't send it to the Sent/Sampler...
