Interestingly the problem is most of the times managable by restarting the OS....

My Mac was auto-updated by IT to Ventura which still had problems with the virtual audio interfaces. Now Iīm trying Sonoma.
First update was bad, then with the next update to latest Sonoma...

No itīs not RME. It is happening as far as I know with every interface as well as virtual interfaces (my issue at most). It really seems a problem in Appleīs...

Please try routing notification sound manually in the Audio and Midi Settings Tab to an interface you kinda donīt need :D and mute it completely there. :-)
Does this work for you? It helped on my M1...

On my main DAW Iīm still on BigSur now after the hiccpus with Monterey and Ventura. On my second Laptop DAW Iīm on Ventura 13.4. The dropouts arenīt as along anymore but still there. :confused: Might...

Why is there still no option in ProTools for an intelligent built-in meter / analyzer with LUFS metering and LUFS normalization on the bounce dialog. :confused:

I needed to go back to BigSur to make everything work again.
Avid told itīs Apples fault. Starting with MacOS 12.4 and even Ventura.
No solid workaround yet. It helps to disable the system alert...

I just tried and it broke the stable virtual interfaces playback on my running system.
Directly after resetting to the original "0" value everything was fine again.
