Agreed. Imagine how many people are pulling their hair out trying to get Kontakt working speedily in ProTools. You would really think that NI would get with Avid and get this situation improved...

BTW, Michael, are you using the newer M.2 NVMe SSD's? You probably are aware that they are much faster than the older SATA SSD's.

BTW, if I didn't say it upthread, I'll be using M.2 cards for client files; they'll never go on the internal, which I would reserve for System, Apps, Sound...

On the next pass, I deactivated the aux track that had the UA plugin on it, but nothing changed in the speed of the bounce. It was about 3x normal.
