I don't understand why you can't be online AND in loop mode. Not that I need to understand, but would it be that difficult for the software to figure this out and toggle itself to whatever state it...

I had NO idea about the 24 bit. I don't know where you are working, but most Hollywood film setups... well i shouldn't say most. MANY are still running OS 9!

Quicktime at 24 fps reads 24.x in PT HD

I get 24 frame QT DV picture from the avid assistant. He uses FCP to output, then he conforms the DV to 24fps.

We have used this method for a few years on various films and the QT always...

FYI - PT 7.3 HD Consistent Crash On Heal Command.

We have a session with 56 tracks of music. Some are stereo, some are 5.1's etc.

If you have a 5.1 track BUT you only have 5 tracks in the 5.1 and you try to Heal an edit - watch out.
