Re: ptle 7.3, reason adapted 2.5 and rewire

[/QUOTE]
Respectfully, maybe if a little bit more diligence had been taken, before upgrading, this might've been avoidable. Although admittedly, I too dived in and upgraded without doing a little...

Re: ptle 7.3, reason adapted 2.5 and rewire

I agree. While I did manage to find someone to help me out with getting Adapted 3.0 (which can be upgraded for free to 3.5 to work with OS 10.4.8) there really aren't any other options other than...

Re: ptle 7.3, reason adapted 2.5 and rewire

I'm actually heading down to Tekserve (in Manhattan). They have some copies of it in stock. I'll see if I can pick up some extras if you're interested in one.

And, yes, I will certainly check my...

Re: ptle 7.3, reason adapted 2.5 and rewire

Thanks, Filo!

Well, that stinks! And there's no way Reason Adapted 2.5 will work on OS 10.4.8 with Pro Tools 7.3? I was actually able to install 2.5 on my iMac and work with it in Reason itself...

Re: ptle 7.3, reason adapted 2.5 and rewire

So those of us with Pro Tools 7.3 who have Reason Adapted 2.5 and are using a Mac running OS 10.4.8 (I'm on the new duo core intel iMac) now have to upgrade to Reason 3.0.5 for $300? Meanwhile, PC...

Re: Dr. Rex & Redrum in edit window?

This was very helpful but the interface and making a loop and getting it into PT is still a mystery to me. I'm not a big drum loop guy but after seeing how easy my friend could drag and drop beats...

Re: Dr. Rex & Redrum in edit window?

UPDATE: I used most of the methods mentioned above. I can now get the actual patterns into PT. Still having trouble though. Not nearly as easy as I'd like it to be. I would love to drag and drop...

Re: Dr. Rex & Redrum in edit window?

Where in the timeline do I make this selection? I'm terribly confused.

My friend has Garage Band of his Mac. He can cut and paste dozens of different drum loops. Is there anything in PT that...

Dr. Rex & Redrum in edit window?

I've been trying to figure this out for a long time and can't get it right. How can I either get loops from Dr. Rex or a drum sequence from Redrum into the edit window so I can actually see the...

Re: defragged drive: now I get DAE 87 error

Thanks for the input. I was unable to get your suggestion to work. The Audio bar didn't allow me to right click.

However, I figured out another fix. I created a new session and just...

defragged drive: now I get DAE 87 error

A few days ago I was getting a DAE error saying that PT wasn't getting enough audio from the drive and that the drive may be fragmented.

So I cleaned and defragged my external HD. Now I...

Re: Mastering from 4-track

I totally forgot to include the tape outs. YES, there are 4 RCA tape outs (one for each track, I presume?) on the back.

Can't believe I forgot that.

Does this change the solutions offered by...

Mastering from 4-track

I've been able...

Re: No sound from Midi Controller

Thanks for the link. Lots of good stuff but I wasn't able to find any videos detailing how to use a MIDI controller.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

No sound from Midi Controller
