Is there a key to delete everything to the left of the playhead?

..Cause that's what I'd like to do. Also, it seems like my playhead is not a real playhead that I can click on and drag, but more of a ghostly line. Did I accidentally change a setting somehow?

Why can't I delete unused track?

I'm going to the playlist selector to the right of the track name. It won't let me click on the "delete unused track option." Does anyone know why it's doing this?

One-click solo solution?

Is there a way that I can set pro tools so that when I click "solo" on a track it will solo just the track I want and mute all of the others? This would save a lot of time.

The one I have is the micro, not the mini, sorry. I'm looking at it now and I'm pretty sure it's only audio out, right? It doesn't make sense that it only allows you to listen to audio coming out...
