hi,

thanks. this did the trick. I do though have a 2nd fast track ultra 8r and for some reason that didnt have the problem.

i guess the 1st unit just got confused with the windows 7 OS :)

sorry i put this in the mac area but it does thesame aswell on my macbook pro as im writing now on my macbook pro with the fast track 8r connected.

its just now in the mac when im in DAW logic and...

Hi.

Iv just encountered a problem today when i was recording a project in cubase 5 at 24 bit 48khz 64 samples.

Now im running windows 7 64 bit and dont have any latency problens or buffer...

Got a question.
How does fusion drive with 8gb of flash and the rest is 5200 rpm hdd, work out with audio recording?

Thanks joel for clarifying my question.

I also have an maudio fw 1814 which only has 2 preamp ins and the rest is just ts inputs 3-8.

My second question is, is it possible to route the ins 1-8...

let me just add.

the new driver for the fast track ultra 8r one that has the control panel looking like this doesnt have the Asio direct monitoring option and the high performance.

this thread is super old like 2008 but iv just recently acquired two old m-audio fast track ultra 8r and wanted to connect both together to get an extra 8 ins and outs virtually not separately.
