i ran in to the same issue.

The way i did it now is:
1 file ---> Save copy in
2 Select desired sample rate in the popup menu
3 save it
4 open it

I can't figure out how to manage midi note recordings in loop.
Midi notes are overwritten while recording in loop mode. I want to merge midi notes in loop recording in stead. How can i achieve that?...

No it's just in the arrange window, trying to copy an audio region to prolong it.
When i do that with alt drag on the audio region, it doesn't copy. Loop doesn't work either. very strange

I can't alt drag copy some tracks in my project for some reason i don't understand. On some audio regions it works, on others it just doesn't work. The same goes for loop (cmmd alt l).

help please

When i run in protools everything is fine, but when i bounce it, everything is totally messed up. Very frustrating.

Thanks guys for non judgmental help :)
OMG i can be so lost sometimes with protools. The problem is that i use it for mixing and i mix only 2 tracks a month. That is not enough to build routine.

Normally i pick up a daw in a few days, with protools it takes too long. So i use other daws because work needs to be done.
HOW do you lasso? HOW do you select multiple regions. Jeeeezz!!!! Google...

Damn protools just doesn't have a way of doing that! I can i ever live with myself without a lasso tool!! Please AVID implement it!!

Can you explain please how i can select multiple tracks at once with the grab tool? it's quite cumbersome to shift click 15 regions, i'm quite sure there is a better...

I'm a logic guy, and i'm used to lasso a selection, and cut with a scissor tool. It works this way in cubase, presonus, reason, ableton, acid pro, magix, digital performer etc etc etc. In protools...

I;m installing a new harddrive for 11.2.1 to run some tests. I don't want to mess with my current setup because i'm in the middle of a project.
But i do use maschine and Geist so i'll test it.

Don't forget to use to route the instruments to multiple outputs in protools. That is where the trouble starts.

Ah now i get it, it's because i'm in shuffle mode i can't drag around. Coming from logic these little things take time to get used to :)

I imported an audio file of a cymbal/crash on a new audiotrack.

Now i have got the crash audio part in the track, i somehow can't drag it around. It's just stuck there and it's driving me nutso.

Same here. I'm forced to using logic and my PT11 is gathering dust because it is simply unusable for the most simplest of tasks.
I might try to install pt10 again and see if that works.
