Re: Mp3 Option
It may give you a couple more options when encoding, depending on what your alternative program is, but really you're paying for the convenience of bouncing straight to an mp3.

MIDI out\'s EMULATED?
Since trying to install my US2400 control surface, it looks as if all of my MIDI outputs, including the ones on my 002R are now shown inside protools as "Emulated" and don't seem to work anymore....

Re: Tascam US2400\'s Jog Wheel and PT
Hey, got a followup question.
Are all the faders motorized? I'm pretty sure they are but the overview on the Tascam site says "moving" fader, which is a little misleading.

Tascam US2400\'s Jog Wheel and PT
Calling all US2400 users.... Does the Jog Wheel work for anything besides scrub? The manual seems to say it only works to scrub audio, but doesn't control transport. HUI protocol supports jog wheel...

Re: LOUD sqeulching noise occasionally with playback
Yes, I've seen the DAE playback buffer issue too. Set it back to the default level 2 and that should take care of it. There's a very long delay between when you hit play and when it actually plays...

I wrote CMLabs and got a response today. I guess this is not a unique problem and many Motor Mix users have written to report the problem. Digidesign was also contacted by myself and CMLabs and are...

Re: M audio Octane 8 mic preamp
Yes you can. The analog output does not interrupt the digital output. From the manual: "Preamp Outputs 1-8 – These are balanced/unbalanced direct analog outputs for each preamp channel on 1/4" TRS...
