Have you tried reinstalling the system software? A clean install is recommended every six months to keep PT running smoothly..

A lot of it can be edited out using the pencil tool. I do it all the time.

I had the exact same thing happen with Beta SP tapes shot in China for a major international project. Unfortunately the only way to deal with it was to have the client pay to rerecord all the voices...

I had a Plextor CD burner for a little over a year. Nothing but problems. Went back 4 times for repairs. I finally bought a Yahama 2100 and have been very happily burning since.

I've noticed absolutely no difference in 3.0. All AS plug ins load in the same time as 2.8.
