As a larger facility any method other than iLok is impossible to administer and we won't use any plug-ins that are not iLok friendly (Bye Bye Autotune). I see our iLok account has over 1300 licences...

This has been reported. It is quite scary and started in PT 12.6.1 HD.

It happens on quitting from PT and the sample rate in Core Audio does not match the quit session sample rate.

Also, to put a bit of perspective on it, say an 80 or 90 piece orchestra on the floor then it cost about 500 dollars to do a reboot because of lost time.

The Macs are remote in machine rooms and especially with Trashcan systems the USB is extended via a thunderbolt hub and this does nor allow the Alt key startup to work.

More DAE error 35

We have started getting very occasional and very hard to pin down Error 35s on what has been an extremely stable system.

Set track on input and measured from input 1 to output 1 (not in record).

Ah! Just read the manual. No extra installation needed. It sniffs out a valid authorisation when launching.

Have you tried logging in as a new user to see if it is a system problem or a user problem?

Have you a clone of your system drive you can boot from?

I have seen quite a few G5 power supply failures over the last year. Try leaving the computer playing itself at Chess at the hardest level and see if it shuts down doing that.

I believe you will only see the back-up license when you start the download procedure.
It will appear on the list of available downloads once you have synchronized an iLok.
