I ran it through, and managed to be complete all the steps when testing MIDI-Input, and came to the very last point of testing MIDI-Output, but was unable to...

Hello Zedhed and thank you for your reply.
Under Midi controller the first tab i can chose between the following:

Type - Command8, HUI, Soundplanner, M-Audio Keyboard.
Recieve is greyed out,...

Oh no, it's a completely new keyboard bought by me. My friend was just helping to try and set it up.
And i may have changed settings in the MIDI Input filter yesterday in my attempt to make it work....

Hmm. Under Instrument i have the first box set to ''All'', the second box set to my keyboard, in this case Impact LX49.
My Inserts A-E are Mini Grand.
My Input and output is described as before....

No, my windows do not jump when i press the keys. I can press the keys with my mouse inside Mini grand and both the windows jump and sound is played.

My keyboard model is the one named above. In pro tools i use the ''Mini Grand'' right now, but have been trying pretty much all with the same result.

MIDI through is checked and i find my keyboard among the ''All'' -> ''Predifined'' Tap. MAtter of fact, there are two, first called ''Impact LX49'' and the second called ''MIDIIN 2 (Impact LX 49).
