Where it gets sticky is where you do exactly place those rear speakers in the panning map.

Only Fairlight lets you freely position the speakers and it creates an equal power scenario between those...

This is easily fixable.

A few years ago Digi did not support B-Wave. Now they do.

Any track config should be fine.

A true multichannel wave file should also be playable in it's native format...

The real disappointment for TV is the time/budget crunch.

HD CAM SR is 12 channels uncompressed.
You do NOT need to Dolby E compress anything!
Films on tape are screened this way all the time on the studio lots!

Get a dig input to the Dolby 650 cinema...
