Re: HD Native card in PCIe x1 slot?

I'm currently running an mbox 3 pro. The firewire port is built in the board. Not sure if it's 400 or 800 though. Don't really need too many inputs or outputs cause I usually record only vocals and...

Re: HD Native card in PCIe x1 slot?

Physical is what I was asking. I have open x1 slots so I from what I gather it won't fit. Now what are these others interfaces with better conversion? Firewire or usb 2 since usb 3 would require a...

Re: HD Native card in PCIe x1 slot?

Hmmmm conflicting answers. Well even if it is x4 card would it still operate in a x1 slot maybe at a lower bandwidth? I mainly just want to use an omni for the better conversion

My computers alittle old at this point but if I don't have to do a new build I won't. I'm wondering if the HD Native card will operate as expected in a pcie x1 slot

Re: Mbox Pro (3rd Gen) Discontinued?

I wish there was some kind of upgrade path to the Quartet for us Mbox 3 Pro owners (even if it was just for the hardware.) Just looking at the specs it seems as if the Quartet crushes the Mbox. Come...

Re: "Tuner" and internal "DSP" doesn't work on Mbox 3 Pro

Partially worked for me. Room 2, Hall 1, and Plate still dont work (I get alot of distortion) and Hall 2 distorts initially when switched to but the tuner and every other setting works fine. Maybe...

Re: Mbox 3 DSP FX Broken?

Just got off the phone with Avid not too long ago. I was quoted a $130 repair and Im in NY. $130 seems alittle much just to repair the dsp and tuner (which I never use.) Guess I'll wait until the...

Re: Mbox 3 DSP FX Broken?

Re: "Tuner" and internal "DSP" doesn't work on Mbox 3 Pro

I have the same problem it's just that I rarely use the DSP so it doesnt bother me as much as most. I also think that's why this problem isnt widely reported because most people either dont check for...

Re: LE and TDM sound quality

Well 44.1 because I have an Mbox but if I got a Digi 002r the headroom issue should be resolved, right? With the Digi 002r I could then record at higher sample rates for tracking and dither it later...
