hello,
if you're not sure, you can make 2 partitions on your harddisk. 1 with 6.9 and 1 with 7
if 7 failes you can go back to 6.9 on the other partition (startupdisk)

i slam my drums in a sub through waves l3 and like it !
maybe a multiband compressor/limiting will do the trick ?
too much reverb on the kit as a whole will mudy the sound too much...

please be aware of the room you're recording, and the performer(s), and the engineer, en the room you're mixing/listening etc. if this is all top...

i got a sony 7506 and 7509, i believe. i have them for so long that i don't remember the exact typenumber. i think they're the best, i even sometimes mix on them with good result.

hello, tonight i mixed a song on my new combination of an mbox with pt 6.4 and a tascam fw1884 and 2 fe-8 expanders. it took some time to figure it out, but finally it worked. and....it works...
