I know all the above you mentioned. But dynamic plugins don't need multi channel version? Muti mono works well? How would you get every channel united gain reduction? Not mention it costs more CPU or...

I mean, reverbs, compressors and EQs all these stuff. More and more people are mixing Atmos format, and Protools has supported 9.1.6 channel, but only few plugins can be applied on 9.1.6 channels. ...

Mac pro,
Protools ultimate 13.5.2 with 2 hdx cards
thunderbolt 3 expansion case.

AAE 9171 occurs frequently.

Anyone has the same experience? Or any method to solve it?

It's synchronized to a word clock generator. The problem has been solved by installing The Protools software 4 times... Thanks for your information.

I have just checked and swapped the cables between interfaces. The problem remains. So I guess maybe it's some hardware issue. Maybe I need to contact the dealer.

I'm not sure either. I have to use MADI or Dante because I don't use native Protools. But I'm thinking to get an Avid MADI interface and see if it's fixed.

I have finally found where the phase issue comes from after two weeks! I found the Madi outputs from my Protools interface assign 8 channels to a group. So 128 channels are assigned to 16 groups....

I of course know this. Just a slip of tongue. The point is the issue. No matter how it is processed. There shouldn't be phase issue.
