Re: A call to solve a major code flaw

There's a simple issue of terminology. The export function has two options, split mono files and stereo interleaved. Some people here think that stereo means only 2 channels. But stereo means two or...

Re: Kernel Panics & A General Mess

I hope I am not hijacking, but I have a simillar issue and it could be related.

I get more quits and kernel panics with a newly bought used G5 d2.0 than I had with my previous G4. One issue of...

Re: Need opinions on a program idea

So you would rather write everything on paper or in a text program rather than say a plugin that visually displays the settings. You would prefer to draw knobs and sliders and whatnot, than move or...

Re: Need opinions on a program idea

I don't think you guys are understanding what I am trying to convey (probably my fault). The reason I want to write a program at least for me personally is because of how tedious it is using these...

Re: Need opinions on a program idea

People take pictures, but they aren't very acurate, and many peices have multiple menu's etc. This would be more like looking at the simlulated PT plugins where you can turn the knobs and what not....

Re: Delay Compenstion Question

I seems like a lot of work (Since it will create so many extra auxes for every channel), but it sounds like it would probably work. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Re: Delay Compenstion Question

I appreciate all the help, but I think that everyone seems to be misunderstanding that I am suming externally, thus the insert method means double conversion when sending it back out the the external...

Re: Delay Compenstion Question

Not really. It then takes twice as many outputs and twice as many conversions. I will try it for experimentation sake, but it wouldnt work for my setup. If it works right, then I guess this means...

Delay Compenstion Question

Is there delay compensation on aux sends?

Re: In Favor of Bringing Back the Old Digi Website

I'm sure someone worked really hard on the new site and it's really appreciated. But the honest truth is that it's one of the hardest web sites to use. It took forever to find a simply update that...

Re: Comparing Maxim to the L3 and L2

Are you referring to L3 Maximizer and L3 multimaximizer? If so, one is just a limiter and the other is both a limiter AND multiband compression.

Re: Mac OS X 10.4.4 & 10.4.5 Now Qualified

I updated to 10.4.5 to be up to date with 7.1cs5, but I have been getting a lot of lockups on a dual 1.25G G4. Has nothing to do with PT, but anyone know what the oldest OS version I can use to run...

Re: PCie and Digi Dollars!

Well, it's obviously not the most optimal solution, but may at least be cheaper. That would be to buy an expansion chassis. This way you could keep the current cards and not be interrupted, and it...

Re: 6.9.3 update to recoginize PT 7 sessions?

Re: 6.9.3 update to recoginize PT 7 sessions?

Like I said, it could ignore anything that isn't supported.

Or one could go out and buy another computer, additional hardware, and another copy of a program.

6.9.3 update to recoginize PT 7 sessions?

Why not have an update to 6.9 that can recognize PT 7 sessions and just disgard the unsuable data?

One of the reasons I and many others are reluctant to use 7 is due to the lack of backwards...
