Re: Pitch Correction Software - Opinions

Hi Straatocastoer
I wasn't sure if you meant you were completely tone deaf and thought something like autotune might help! It's fine for tweaking etc as my per my last post and Bazzle doesn't find...

Re: Pitch Correction Software - Opinions

Hi Straatocastoer
In my experience, these kind of tools should only be used ( if at all! )to tweak slight performance defects and definately not to patch up a bad vocal track. Say you've recorded a...

Hi
I use a Digitech 2120 preamp for guitar and I want to save my patches somewhere outside the preamp. It has a sysex dump facility which I think might do what I want but can I just take a midi out...

Re: Ampli*&^%$£tube again!!!

Hi Bazzle
I'm using full version with 98SE, PT v. 5.1.1.3. The presets are the factory standards, not my own. What do you mean when you say you recall the settings to the plug-in, not to Amplitube?

Re: OT: Ok, where are all my guitar boys at???

I swear by my old Digitech 2112 as mutha preamp - the valves make it sound like a big old rig but don't forget that you need to layer your guitar sounds to get really big. My tip - lay down a riff...

Re: Click track and grid edit

If the drummer is hearing the click right but the recorded drums are out, highlight all the drums and move them back/forward in time. It's a latency thing but it's all relative,so if the drummer is...

Re: Anyone successfully run PTLE on a Commodore 64?

So none of you had a Sinclair ZX81 then? 1K Ram upgradeable to 16k. I'm talking serious on-screen black and white text games. Then there was the ZX Spectrum (colour) and then there was Amstrad...

Re: Methods for removing breaths????

Hi
Heres an idea. Highlight the breath section, go to Edit / Fades / Create fades. You can mess around with the fade in so that the breath comes up just before the vocal begins. Quicker to do that...

Not at the computer right now but from memory, highlight the whole track to move the whole volume line with all the edit points intact.

Re: Mix to stereo track, then bounce? Or bounce entire session?

Yup, most people would put comp and dither over the master fader and bounce just like that. The only reason I can think of bouncing to disk without it is if you intend to send your stuff off for...

Re: Any tips for getting rid of unwanted drums noises?

Re: memory upgrade

Hmm ... was just about to upgrade to 512mb with my Asus CUSL2-C mobo and and Athlon 2600. So what would be the smokin mobo for, say, 1024Mb RAM when I up to 6.1?
