Agreed but this is not sound card related, it is Pro Tools only. IOW, the audio only sounds THIS bad when it played in a Pro Tools session.
Tried increasing the asio buffer size.
No help there.

ASIO4ALL - Unavailable - Mystery Resolved??

If there is a sub attached to that system I'm guessing something beside low frequency effects is coming out of it, but maybe not... I never saw an "AC3 Direct" mode setup option...

FWIW, I always do a distinct mix for standard L/R stereo. It is amazing to me how often this part of the process gets messed up and some kind of downmix or the L/R Surround channels inadvertently...
